The lifting of this ban enabled the representatives of the Mau Mau freedom fighters to try and seek justice for atrocities meted on them by the colonial Government. Similarly, some of our youths get recruited into crime when they are literally children, but when they grow up, they reform. These are people we should try to help and bring back to the society."
