    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I also rise to oppose this amendment. Considering the fact that a lot of Kenyans are even committing suicide as a result of this gaming and betting, we should not reduce the penalty from what the Chairman has proposed. I oppose vehemently any attempt to reduce the penalty on betting because it is a social menace. A lot of people are suffering as a result of people taking advantage of them, including committing suicide."
