Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the Dairy Industry Act, (Cap 336) ― (a) in the proposed amendments to Section 3― (i) by deleting the proposed amendment to the definition of “producer”; (ii) by inserting the following new definition in proper alphabetical sequence— “importer“ means a person who buys and brings any dairy produce into the country for commercial purposes."
