    "content": "THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the National Hospital Insurance Fund Act No. 9 of 1998− (a) in the proposed amendment to Section 3(2)(a), by deleting the proposed new sub-paragraph (ii); This section, for the benefit of the Members, was an introduction of the requirement of the employer to match the contribution of the employee. This may be abrupt and may cause unforeseen economic burden on the part of the employer. It is therefore necessary to remove employer’s contribution as forming part of the funds of the NHIF. I propose that the proposal be deleted."
