    "content": " Hon. Deputy Speaker, I beg to move that the National Cohesion and Integration (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No.12 of 2019) be now read a Second Time. The National Cohesion and Integration (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was read a First Time on 27th March 2019. Pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order 127(2), the Bill was committed to the Select Committee on National Cohesion and Equal Opportunity for consideration. The Bill mainly seeks to amend Section 17 of the National Cohesion and Integration Act, 2008, which deals with the procedure of appointing commissioners to the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC)."
