I second and thank the Chair of the National Cohesion and Equal Opportunity Committee for rising to the occasion and bringing this very important National Cohesion and Integration (Amendment) Bill 2019. This Bill, as he said, was read the First Time on 27th March 2019. The Bill mainly seeks to amend Section 17 of the Nation Cohesion and Integration Act of 2008, which deals with the procedure for appointing commissioners to the NCIC."
