Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, (No.33 of 2015) – (g) in the proposed amendments to section 126(3) by deleting the word “seven” and substituting therefor the word “fourteen”; The proposed amendment reduces the variation period to seven days from 21 days. The period is too short. I therefore propose a period of 14 days, which is similar to the previous amendment that we had already done. Thanks."
