Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (No.33 of 2015) – (h) by deleting the proposed amendments to section 135(3). Again, it is giving the contract period a very short time by reducing it to seven days. From what happens in our constituencies, sometimes such a period is very short. So, I propose that we retain it at 14 days and not seven days."
