I want to agree with the Vice-Chair of the Public Investments Committee who, indeed, stated that as legislators we should not be curtailed by the views of the National Treasury. The provisions of code 14 are clear that it is in consultation with the National Treasury. Therefore, I took the liberty to inform the House since a decision had already been made and the Speaker made a communication on the views of the National Treasury on this issue."
