Whereas their expertise and experience in the particular special interests is expected to guide the proceedings in the committee and the House so as to make informed decisions, they must, however, navigate cautiously to ensure that: “They are not seen by a reasonable member of the public in the streets to influence the way in which they discharge their parliamentary duties.”"
