    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I rise to speak on four provisional amendments that are in this Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendment) Bill. One is on the Micro Finance Act. The Bill proposes to amend to provide for the conduct of business by sharia compliant microfinance business which is a welcome thing. I support that. But the sponsor of this Bill, who is the Leader of the Majority Party, should consider having some of these things come under the Finance Bill, so that he also engages the public through public participation. This will also give people an opportunity to understand how many micro finance institutions are getting into sharia compliant business. In this day and age where people have problems on where to access credit, we should encourage even those sharia compliant institutions to offer micro finance business."
