Temporary Deputy Speaker, I therefore look at the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill as items or various types of changes that are put together, to quickly enable a law that would otherwise not be clean or be providing adequate interpretation of the law as it is, but not one where we are getting substantive amendments. In particular, I am here as a Member of the Departmental Committee of Sports, Culture and Tourism. I want to agree with (inaudible) in regard to the kinds of amendments in this particular Act. As a Committee we looked at what was presented by the different stakeholders and their recommendations.
