    "content": "I want to implore my colleagues in the Senate to adopt this Bill when the time comes for Kenyans who have been waiting for a regulatory and legal framework through which their commodities can be stored and receipts documented to use this Bill. I am sure that the President is waiting for this product. As Members of the Senate, we should not be seen to be dragging our feet when our input is needed. Agriculture is a devolved function. In this House, we represent the interest of counties. I am sure that we will have rendered the legislative process to this county when agriculture thrives as a business and an activity. With those very many remarks, I congratulate the Committee and the delegation from the National Assembly. I look forward to the time when the President will assent to this Bill."
