    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order 47(1), I rise to make a Statement on the recently announced ban on imports of used car spare parts by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KeBS). This ban, despite the intentions, is ill- timed and ill-informed. It will have a negative impact on thousands of Kenyans who depend on this trade for their livelihoods. Their livelihoods will be grossly jeopardised."
