If the Kenyan people can truly live to the spirit of what is contained in this Bill, we will be able to have a more united, peaceful and prosperous nation. If we do not, then the cycles of violence, as we have experience before, will continue. Madam Temporary Speaker, we do not have to wait for laws to be in place, but I think this Bill will encourage us to do what is right. As we speak now, even if we look at public institutions, the appointments in certain public institutions still go to certain communities, more particularly, the large communities."
