    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, for giving me a chance to add my voice to this important Motion. However, before doing so, I join you in welcoming the students from Murang‟a and Tharaka Nithi Counties who are in the Public Gallery. I wish them a good time and success as they learn the business that we transact in the Senate. I add my voice to this Motion by saying that it is time for the Senate to rise in support of devolution. We have been given a mandate by the Constitution to oversight counties. We are here to represent our counties. We must make sure that anything that comes to this House from the National Assembly will benefit our counties."
