Members, Section 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act requires that a committee shall consider a nomination and table a report for debate and decision in the House within 14 days from the date of notification. In this regard, the Committee should table its report on the above nominees the soonest possible to enable the House to conclude the matter within the statutory timelines."
