Speaker, I rise to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication and Technology the following Question: (a) Is the Cabinet Secretary aware of the lack of mobile telephone network connectivity and coverage in most parts of Laikipia County, especially in Laikipia North Sub-County? (b) What measures is the Ministry putting in place to ensure that there is adequate mobile telecommunication network coverage and connectivity in the said areas by all service providers so as to support economic activities in the affected areas and guarantee timely coordination of security and other emergency interventions?
