My Committee did not just research about the ruling of the High Court and the Court of Appeal; rather it researched about many other things which are interesting to hear. It has been said that it is difficult to renounce one’s citizenship if it is by birth. I remember when the nominee with the dual citizenship appeared before the Committee, she told the Committee that the problem is that she cannot opt out of her citizenship which is by birth."
