    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I also rise to support this Report. I want to congratulate Members of the Committee for coming up with the Report. First of all, the Report is quite positive; it confirms or allays the fears of hon. Members as to who owns Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC). As it is quite well known, the service of electricity is very vital and strategic. It would be most imprudent to allow profit driven motives to override the supply of those services to Kenyans because of the obvious threat of exploitation."
