    "content": "(1) The Board shall have all the powers necessary for the proper performance of its functions under this Act and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Board shall have power to- (a) enter into contracts; (b) manage, control and administer the assets of the Board; (c) receive gifts, grants, donations or endowments made to the Board and make disbursement there from in accordance with the provisions of this Act; (d) subject to the approval of the Cabinet Secretary for the time being responsible for matters relating to finance, invest any of the Board’s funds not immediately required for the purposes of this Act, as it may determine; and (e) operate a bank account into which all monies received by the Board shall be paid in the first instance and out of which all payments made by the Board shall be made. (2) The Board may, if it considers it necessary, create or take part in the creation of, become a member of, or associated with a body or corporation designed to assist or promote the tea industry."
