    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I appreciate the hon. Member’s concern that the adult education learners should also sit for the national examinations. I would want the Questioner to appreciate the fact that the Ministry’s mandate as far as adult education is concerned, is not to prepare the adult education learners for national examinations. It is for literacy and numeracy. It is to equip them with the knowledge of reading, writing and number handling."
