    "content": "The purpose of this Act is to provide a framework to— (a) promote the mental health and wellbeing of all persons, including reducing the incidences of mental illness; Madam Temporary Speaker, we, as a nation, have come to a stage where we need to see how we can reduce the number of the people suffering from this illness. Sometimes we attribute it to our lifestyle or the hardships we go through that result in depression. As a result of that, many Kenyans are facing this mental illness."
