That is provided in Clause 3B (1) which states that- “Every health care provider shall, where a person with mental illness is capable of making an informed decision on the need for treatment— (a) inform the person with mental illness of the person’s right to choose an appropriate form of treatment; and The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
