I would like to draw your attention to Standing Order No.90(1) which states as follows- “No Senator shall read a speech but a Senator may read short extracts from written and printed papers in support of an argument and may refresh memory by reference to notes.” From where I sit, you are reading a speech or something. I hope I am not right or maybe I have not seen properly from where I am. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
