Many Kenyans do not like if you mention Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital. In fact, one person told me that when you are taken there, it is like a death sentence because of the status of the institution. Institutionalization is an issue that is being discussed globally and we have to look for a different way of dealing with extreme mental cases."
