"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I stand to seek your advice. In as much as any Kenyan is entitled to bring a petition on any matter, it is important for you to advice the House, for the sake of neatness. West Pokot County has a duly elected Senator who represents the interest of his county and the interest of the government. When a Petition of such nature comes from the people of that area, is it not neater for it to be read out by the Speaker as opposed to it being presented by another Senator? If that is allowed, Members will start picking issues from other counties. I seek your advice on that matter."
