    "content": "Going out to the people is a result of the need to ensure effective representation to the people of Kenya. Although we protect the counties, we cannot protect or defend counties without representing the people. When Members in this House react to Petitions or Statements and contribute to Bills, I have the general feeling that Senators represent the people of this country more than any other institution in this country. Going to Kitui is a demonstration that we are not satisfied just talking from Nairobi."
