    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I also think this is a very important Petition and it needs to be dealt with expeditiously as soon as possible. You will agree with me that land remains a very emotive issue in this country. Even though we need foreign investors, we should not do so at the expense of the ordinary mwananchi . The law should be followed to the letter. One problem - even as the Committee deals with this matter - is the NLC. That is because the immediate former commissioners and officers did this country a lot of disservice. I hope that, as we try to reconstitute the new Commission, a lot of effort will be put to ensure we get the right people in place to deal with matters of land going forward. Thank you."
