The Question is directed to the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development: (i) What is the Government of Kenya’s position on the continued use of Boeing 737 aircraft by airlines operating within its airspace, in view of the suspension and/or ban of such aircraft by other nations as a result of its involvement in accidents in the recent past? The second Question, which is more important and affects me because some of the people who died were my constituents and their families want help, is: (ii) What steps has the Ministry taken in assisting families who lost their loved ones in the accidents get compensated?"
