    "content": "On 29th May 2019, you conveyed names of persons to be appointed as Ambassadors and High Commissioners to various missions abroad. Being a Member of the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations, I can confidently report that, as a Committee, we have had an avalanche of activities including consideration of Supplementary Estimates, Budget Estimates and the recently concluded vetting of the first batch of nominees that the House deliberated on. Given that consideration and tabling of reports has a timeline of tomorrow as the deadline, we believe an extension of 14 days will give us enough time to consider the report and table it before the House. In view of the fact that this debate has gathered a lot of public interest and it is good to have a list of nominees who have been vetted and thoroughly sieved to present before the public, I second."
