Speaker, I rise to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government: (i) whether he is aware that the effects of the 2007-2008 Post Election Violence (PEV) have yet to be addressed, in particular, for public officers who were serving in Konoin Constituency; and, (ii) what measures the Ministry is putting in place to compensate the public servants who lost their properties during the said violence, namely, chiefs of Kaptien, Boito, Mosonik and Simoti Locations, and assistant chiefs of Chepkochun, Saseta, and Simoti Locations, whose shops and houses were burnt; and retired Chief of Chemelet Location, who lost livestock."
