    "content": "In some counties like Wajir County where I come from, the first tarmacked road was constructed by the county government. There is something in devolution. This House together with the Members of the County Assemblies (MCAs) in the 47 counties need to protect devolution. Currently, there is so much talk against devolution and part of the reason for that is that county governments are corrupt and are not delivering promises to the people. The MCAs need to be counted by ensuring that they tackled the issue of corruption in the counties because poverty levels are very high in our country."
