(a) Could the Minister provide the per constituency shortfall of teachers in the country, the respective constituency sizes as well as the respective constituency student populations? (b) Could the Minister also clarify whether the current process of teacher recruitment on contract basis is taking all the factors in (a) above into account? (c) What steps will the Minister take to ensure equity amongst constituencies in the recruitment?"
