    "content": "Why are patients referred to referral hospitals in the first place? Our hospital referral system is wanting. We have ailments which do not need be treated at KNH. They find themselves there because our sub-county hospitals are not properly funded, not properly utilised and not properly staffed to take care of such ailments. I am excited because Nyayo Hospital in Elburgon has received funding and we are going to construct a state-of-the-art outpatient unit and a maternity unit.
