    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I thought I would not get a chance. The Departmental Committee on Health embarked on the inquiry into the operations of the four referral hospitals, namely: Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital, National Spinal Injury Referral Hospital, Moi Eldoret Teaching and Referral Hospital and KNH. They went there because these hospitals have immense problems. Earlier in the year, the Committee had tabled a Report concerning the fifth referral hospital which is Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital. In their recommendation, they asked the National Treasury to allocate money so as to jumpstart this hospital. The President also signed an Executive Order making it a legal entity. This was very good so we hope KNH will be decongested because more patients will go to Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral hospital."
