If you divide Kshs2 billion by the 67 Senators and decide to give them the same amount, it comes to over Kshs2.4 million per month per Senator. I asked myself: “How do you give Senators Kshs2.5 million every month just to go hold public barazas and call people around?” We are the ones who lowered it to Kshs500 million. That still comes to Kshs624,000 per month per Senator. My worry is this."
