    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the issues that are raised in this Petition are grievous. The petitioners must have felt that the Senate is the best place to handle this issue. That is why they brought their Petition to the Senate. I request the Committee that is concerned to do thorough due diligence in terms of the failure of the county officials to protect the residents who are vehemently complaining. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, one week ago, the residents protested because of the dumping. Therefore, this has far-reaching implications on the lives and livelihood of those people and needs to be adequately addressed. I agree with other Senators that this should be addressed so that other counties can follow."
