    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker, for giving me this opportunity. I just want to comment briefly on the second Petition. Development is good for a country, but it must be done with the total respect to the rights of the people. It is very important that the people that are mentioned in the second Petition, whose property is going to be acquired by the Government, be properly compensated. The contrary is just impunity which should not be tolerated. People acquired those properties through hard work and savings that took them a very long time. I ask the relevant committee which you will assign to look into this Petition to expedite not only for that particular purpose, but also for other State agencies to be aware about the rights of people who have properties. For them to pave way for any development, their rights must be looked into. Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I support this Petition."
