Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the provisions relating to the Merchant Shipping Act, No.4 of 2009, by deleting the new subsection 16(1A) and substituting with the following new provision- “(1A) The provisions of subsection (1) shall not apply to a shipping line owned or controlled by the Government.”"
