The import of the amendment is to reinforce the position that any jurisdiction can only have one accreditation assessment body and there should not be any other. That is the international practice, and that is why we are introducing specifically the term in Kenya. I urge Members to approve so that we give it the teeth it requires to make it relevant and discharge its mandate. I thank you Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady."
