    "content": "The amendment seeks to provide for very clear standards for the removal of a CEO. The old provision of “reasonable standard” is deleted and replaced by a provision of standards for removing a CEO, which would be Clause 13(5)(i). The appointment of the CEO may be revoked on the grounds of gross misconduct, insubordination, violation of the terms of the contract of employment, breach of Chapter Six of the Constitution, failure to comply with the provisions of this Act and conviction of an offence under any of the laws of Kenya."
