It is true that there are human rights issues involved, but the core of this issue is about misuse of State power in provision of national security services. This is not a light matter. I, therefore, direct the Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations to be the one to deal with this matter. It can have the input of the Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights. However, the matter resides squarely within the Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations."
