Almost all the universities in this country rely almost entirely on funding from the national Government to carry out research. Madam Temporary Speaker, I wish we could get to a point where universities establish collaborations with partners across the globe. They should look for funding outside the national Government and invest in research, so that we can begin to make our own products and policy making processes based on research in real time.
