    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, as we pursue this mandate, the Ministry is guided by the Government’s policy priorities and commitment as amplified in the medium term plan of Vision 2030. This includes sustaining revenue collection above 21 per cent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), restructuring public expenditure to be gross oriented and pro-poor, maintaining domestic borrowing at a sustainable level, maintaining a monetary policy consistent with low inflation without compromising economic recovery efforts, increasing private sector participation in the delivery of services, minimizing the cost of regulation and encouraging competition and consumer protection."
