Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 38 of the Bill be amended by deleting sub-clause (4) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clauses— (4) Every oath or affirmation taken by the chairperson shall be administered by the secretary and every oath or affirmation taken by any other member, the secretary and the Clerks shall be administered by the chairperson. (5) Every oath or affirmation taken by any other officer shall be administered by the secretary."
