    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I want to start by thanking the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance for the Kshs1 trillion Budget. The only thing I want to add is that he should be able to raise that Kshs1 trillion from taxes. I want to believe that there is still a lot of money out there which the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is not able to collect. The Ministry should, therefore, put a lot of effort in that particular area of revenue collection, so that we can start enjoying the good life now than in the next 30 years or in 2030, because that is still very far away. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I wish to note that the Minister has indicated that he wants to give Telkom Kenya a grant of Kshs2.2 billion and Kenya Railways, Kshs4.8 billion.
