    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I want to request for a statement on the new taxation measures levied on hides and skins. Pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No. 44(2)(c), I rise to seek a statement from the Chairperson, Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning, regarding taxation measures contained in the Finance Bill, 2019 being charged on business community dealing with hides and skins. The Kenya Revenue Authority has adjusted the taxation regimes in the Simba System to reflect a new taxation levy and currently implementing a 10 per cent levy on hides and skins, The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
