Speaker, Section 43(4) of the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) Act requires that whenever a vacancy occurs in the Constituency Committee through resignation, incapacitation or demise of a member, the vacancy shall be filled from the same category of persons where the vacancy occurred. Pursuant to the above provisions and following occurrence of vacancies in Jomvu, Ndhiwa, Nyando, Mandera East and Embakasi Central constituencies, the Board received the names of the nominees as recommended by the selection panels in the respective constituencies in line with Regulation 5."
