    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I support the Report by the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing on the issue of KQ. I am a Member of the Committee. As a Committee, we deliberated at length on the issue of KQ. We had public participation. We invited various stakeholders - workers in the aviation industry, pilots, KQ management and officials from KAA, which is at the moment running the JKIA hub. This was an issue that attracted a lot of public attention through the mainstream media and also attracted the attention of this House through two or so committees. We gave the matter the seriousness that it deserved. As a Committee, we found ourselves grappling with the issue of PIIP and we thought it is not in the interest of the Kenyan public.
